Save the Date: Alabama Dance Festival
January 11-26, 2025
Join us at the 2025 Alabama Dance Festival. As one of the largest gatherings of dancers and dance enthusiasts in the Southeast, the Alabama Dance Festival will immerse you in master classes with world-renowned teachers, audition opportunities, teacher training, networking, performances by regional dance groups, and a guest company. Each year, the Alabama Dance Festival boasts a weekend full of performances. Participants and public alike enjoy work presented in a range of styles and traditions by schools, studios, companies, and choreographers in our annual New Works Concert and Alabama Dance Festival Showcase.
2025 Guest Dance Company: Collage Dance Collective
Recently named a “Southern Cultural Treasure” by SouthArts and Ford Foundation, Collage Dance Collective has presented fourteen full-length seasons of emotionally evocative performances locally in Memphis, TN, cultivated a love of dance in thousands of students, and toured a diverse range of classical and contemporary choreography from George Balanchine, Nacho Duato, Ulysses Dove, Joshua Manculich, Amy Hall Garner, Kevin Iega Jeff, and more to national and international audiences.

Scholarship Opportunities:
The Alabama Dance Council’s Festival Scholarship program is designed to help you keep moving towards your goals as a dancer/artist. We believe in tearing down barriers to arts access – and that’s why the Dance Festival Scholarship program is open to all festival participants. Your age, gender, occupation, cultural background, and family status should not be an impediment to attending the festival and pursuing your dreams.
You may apply for multiple financial assistance opportunities to attend the festival but will only be eligible to receive one. Financial assistance recipients are responsible for any other expenses including registration fee ($10), travel, housing, and meal expenses.

Tuition Scholarships are open to all festival participants (dancers) and are awarded based on your financial need and your work as a dancer. Scholarship awards reduce tuition from 25% – 100%. ADC Membership is required to apply.

Link to apply for scholarships will be posted when application opens.
